Texas Real Estate License Courses
For those seeking a Texas real estate license and
how to become a Texas real estate agent, Texas allows online real estate courses
in Texas and Texas real estate courses through the internet on your computer that meet the
Texas real
estate license requirements. These online Texas real estate school allows you to take
the Texas state approved licensing course on your computer. After completing the course, you are
qualified to take the Texas real estate exam and get your Texas real
estate license. Note: To be eligible to apply for a real estate Salesperson License in Texas, an individual must be a citizen of the United States or a lawfully admitted alien, eighteen (18) years of age or older and a legal resident of Texas.

Texas Real Estate Commission Education Requirement
Texas generally requires 150 hours of real estate courses minimum. But a total of 210 hours is required if one has not completed four semester (60 classroom) hours core or related courses or otherwise has a bachelor's degree. Here are the requirements as taken from the TX Real Estate Commission website.
Classroom hours (online permitted) of core courses are noted as required:
- 150 hours:
a)
Principles of Real Estate - 60 hours
b) Law of Agency - 30 hours
c) Law of Contracts - 30 hours
d) Any additional core real estate courses- 30 hours (You may decide these after sign up.)
- Plus 60 hours (4 semester hours) of core courses or related courses acceptable to the TX Real Estate Commission.

Core courses: These are included in the 210 hour package.
OR
Related courses: A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university satisfies all of the "related" education requirements for your license. Proof of the degree will be needed w/ your application..
So, you need the 210 hour package if you do NOT have a bachelor's degree or the required 60 hours of courses..
You may take the 150 hour package if you DO have a bachelor's degree or the required 60 additional hours.
